What is alt.assassination.jfk?

During the last ten years or more, Marquette University has hosted a usenet group called alt.assassination.jfk. This is a moderated group, which means each post has to be acceptable to at least two of three mods. Theoretically, this is a good thing, as the focus would be on keeping to the topic of the assassination while weeding out personal vendettas. MU also hosts the unmoderated group alt.conspiracy.jfk, better known to the lone nutters as, ironically, 'the nuthouse'.

The host and main mod of aaj, as it is called, is none other than an ass. poli sci prof at MU named John McAdams. McAdams makes no bones about his hatred of all things CT -- he also has MU maintain a website for him, the pages of which are chock full of venom against every major figure connected to the assassination. But that is another story.

The purpose of this blog is to follow the trials and tribulations of a CT (conspiracy theoriest) poster to aaj. The intent is to demonstrate the bias and hypocrisy of the posting methods at aaj, not to mention the sandbagging ambience. The objective will be to let the reader decide for himself whether McAdams is just a surly, misdirected, stunted little man with a grudge, or if there is actually a poli sci experiment taking place that has the full support of MU itself.
