You seem to be missing the point, in that I am warning you from my own experience as to what has happened to many, if not most of those who have libeled me and threatened me as you are doing. That is very different from making a threat. I will promise you that if you continue in this vein, you could end up part of the libel suit. I hope that doesn't happen. That is not my intent in trying to communicate with you.
I could have let you hoist yourself on your own petard, knowing what I know, and have just made money off of your libelous posts and emails in a libel suit, but I am instead doing what I can to reach out to do what I can to help you understand the seriousness of your actions. You have made statements, even though in ridicule, such as referencing a 'voice from 200 years ago', and 'a musical messiah', which indicate that you do understand what you are doing.
As a matter of fact, you tossed out your 'diagnosis' of schizophrenia. I was just stunned when I read that. Perhaps you are psychic, as that has been the diagnosis of some, including the one still left at the MO, who tried to discredit me and are still living. I don't know what else I can do to be of help to you. I can honestly say that from my standpoint the aisles of Orchestra Hall are already full of the corpses who act as you do. Why would I want there to be any more?

As I am working with def lawyers, I have a fairly good understanding of what I can say about others and what they can say about me without causing libel, so I can and will say anything I want to on the newsgroups...

I haven’t been so “vicious,” that I can see. I’ve only called your ideas ridiculous, and that’s just stating the obvious. Anyone who actually knows you (as I admittedly don’t) and wanted to help you (as I nevertheless wish I could) would have to tell you pretty much the same thing some day, and make you listen.
I have asked you repeatedly to move on.
In e-mails in which you address me insultingly. I wouldn’t go whining “libel” about your accusations (which are vague and weird), because that is just (too-)typical Internet activity.
But I have a right to respond any time you address me and say things about me.

If you do not see your attacks as such, it is you who are delusional.
I have given you numerous opportunities to let go and you have refused. There is no doubt left that you are deliberately posting both false and defamatory things about me. All you are doing now is giving me additional documentation. Your choice. But then, as one MO player has famously said, "Some people just have to do things the hard way."

Everything I’ve said about you has been clearly indicated as my opinion.
You cannot sue someone for telling you what your ideas sound like to them. If you think they’ve got it wrong, mere expostulations will never take the place of explanations.
I do not have letters after my name that would give any professional weight to my diagnosis, and my diagnosis, as such, has been given only in private communication.
By the way, Marsh just e-mailed me to threaten prosecution if I replied again via e-mail to him (!), and to deny that he said hoaxes were launched “within hours” of the assassination. (Anybody can see that’s what he said.)

Those of you who continue to attack appear to have an agenda and know what they are doing. You may pretend otherwise, but that is just a smokescreen. I don't suppose you have figured out that lawyers can discriminate between pretense and truth either, have you? Probably not, as arrogance and pride tend to get in the way of understanding something like that...
What has happened to those in the research community who have put me under attack? Where is Weldon? Della Rosa? Jack White? They are gone. Fetzer was 'retired' from UMD, and McAdams is on his way out of MU. I don't suppose you want to learn from those odd coincidences either, do you? At the Minnesota Orchestra only one remains -- the others are dead or have left. You have no idea how many unscrupulous people thought they could do what you are doing without consequence, only to find out they were gravely mistaken. Why would I want anyone else to make the same mistake?
